I'm an Author, Screenwriter, and Healthcare Professional

My Novel Collection

I have written 8 amazing, in-depth stories about women - every woman.  My novels often feature characters who are forced to confront fears, take responsibility for their actions, endure hardships, come to terms with the unfair nature of the world, and more.

My Story, Her story..... is Your Story is part one of 2 part series - the 2nd book - Take A Chance Girl.

In the Pulpit

The Nurse's Last Code Blue

Between Friends

The Lost Girl

The Hero Inside Her

The Club On The Hill

My Community

My mother instilled in me at an early age; “remember, do your best, and be the best at doing what you do”.

Mae’s Hands Book Collection is a tribute to my mother’s memory.

When I was a little girl, I watched my mother do wonders with her hands. From cleaning, cooking, gardening, and scratching my head, to rubbing my tummy when I was hurting.

Somehow, she made me believe whatever she touched would turn to gold, and whatever hurt I was experiencing, she could fix it with her hands. Even when my heart was broken. She rubbed love deep into my soul.

My mother, Mattie Mae, her hands were filled with God's tenderness.

So, today, I am living my passion. I write my imagination, with some truth, and a lot of love.  Hoping as I write my mother's hands, from heaven, will overlay on my hands and help me write tenderness into each word as my reader explore my creation of stories.

Join My Journey

I always knew I had a wild, crazy, impossible imagination.

I always knew there was a purpose for my passion, writing.

This road to becoming an author and screenwriter has not been an easy one. I have made some mistakes, but lessons learned. But still, I continue to write.

I continue to explore how good I really am, as a writer, and a storyteller.

I have found some joy in telling some stories. And, I find some peace and hope for the past in letting go.

Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone has a chapter of triumph, lost dreams, stolen moments, hateful abuse, painful love, and many others.

But to become an author – to tell my stories -- I learned --- I had to dig deep, and think outside the box. And let my hands do the work.

And if everything doesn’t make sense as I am writing – just keep writing (I tell myself) – it will. It shall.

All my thoughts have a purpose. So, after five novels – I am – still writing – I still have more stories to share.
